Plex, is primarily someone who is looking for PLAYBACK/streaming of separately downloaded content, etc. it doesn't have all the same sorts of plugins and extras like XMBC for live TV, recording, etc.

Someone looking for the FULL all around solution, likely Plex isn't for you. I have used XMBC for a while, media portal, and WMC. PLEASE, I don't want to make this into a "XMBC is better thread, etc" sort of thing. so I thought I would make a post, posting my experiences, etc with it, for any others to see, ask questions, start discussion, etc.
